DiSPaC presentation
The Department of Cultural Heritage Sciences (DiSPaC) coordinates and promotes research and training activities concerning the knowledge and management of cultural heritage in its tangible and intangible components, with particular reference to the conservation, promotion, transmission, and interpretation of historical and cultural heritage.
DiSPaC's scientific and teaching assets enable it to operate in a multidisciplinary environment that fosters relationships with national and international institutional stakeholders as well as cooperation with production-based and entrepreneurial realities which operate in the sector of cultural heritage.
In the field of education, DiSPaC offers Bachelor's and Master's degree courses in various relevant scientific-disciplinary sectors and postgraduate courses for the Doctorate in Archaeological and Historical-Artistic Research Methods and Methodologies and the Inter-University School of Specialisation in Archaeological Heritage (University of Salerno - University L'Orientale of Naples), Other activities aim at acquiring techniques and analytical skills which are useful for successful entry into the professional world. These are activated by DiSPaC through the provision of scholarships and research grants.
